Closure of National Irish Bank Defined Benefit Pension Scheme

This bulletin updates members on the refusal by National Irish Bank to agree to a joint referral of the pensions issue to the Labour Court. IBOA has decided that it will now refer the issue alone - and agree to be bound in advance by the Court's decision on the matter.
The bulletin advises members not to sign any documentation relating to pensions until the Labour Court has made a determination in this case - especially since the information supplied by the Bank so far has been incomplete and misleading.
