IBOA in conjunction with Women at Work Skillnet invites our members tto avail of the following training opportunity:
Personal Development Programme 10
- Training will take place over 4 Tuesday evenings
- 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th September
- Training is free to participants (places are limited)
Please Note:
There are a limited number of training places reserved for IBOA Representatives and activists. There will be no charge for this training course. In addition, any members /ex-members of IBOA
who are currently unemployed are eligible to attend.
Course Aim:
This course is designed to help you build your internal strength in communicating with others, your personal effectiveness in a group situation, your negotiation and conflict management skills with individuals and groups across your union organisations.
The objective of this 4-evening course is to provide you with tools and techniques that will allow you to be more effective in any work or group situation, where you need to communicate more clearly or effectively to get better results and co-operation.

The training course is free of charge to Union members. Nevertheless are considerable tutor and other costs associated with running the course and places are limited. So please do not book a place unless you are sure that you will attend.
While the primary aim of the Skillnet is to upskill women and the vast majority of IBOA Representatives are women, please note that men are also very welcome to attend.
