Bank of Ireland Group

IBOA has been organising workers in Bank of Ireland since the Union's foundation in 1917. Although the Union's relationship with the senior management in Bank of Ireland has experienced some difficulties in recent years over the pensions issue in 2006 and the threatened dispute over the Staff Stock Issue in 2008, IBOA has striven to build a more mature and constructive dialogue in order to address the many challenges facing the bank in the future.
