90th Anniversary Exhibition

To mark the ninetieth anniversary of the Union's foundation, IBOA House hosted an exhibition of historical photographs and other memorabilia highlighting the Union's history on Friday September 28 and Saturday September 29 2007.

Photographs of major events in the Union's history including news reports were on display together with a range of other memorabilia including IBOA sporting trophies.

IBOA wishes to record special thanks to Mrs. Pam Brown who donated information on the 1946 Strike in Northern Ireland collated from comtemporary sources by her late husband J. D. Brown who was an Executive Committee member at the time. Mrs. Brown traveled down from Belfast especially to view the exhibition.
