Irish Congress of Trade Unions
The central authority for trade unions on the island of Ireland, Congress co-ordinates the activity of trade unions in areas of common interest – including centralised wage bargaining and economic and social policy. A total of 55 unions are affiliated to Congress.
The current President of Congress is Jack O'Connor (SIPTU). Its General Secretary is David Begg.
IBOA General Secretary, Larry Broderick, is a member of ICTU's Executive Council.

Kate Varley, President ICPSAThe ICPSA is an umbrella body composed of trade unions and organisations representing professional, clerical, technical and other similar employees in the Republic of Ireland.
The current President of ICPSA is Kate Varley (IBOA). Its Honorary Secretary is John Healy (Garda Representative Association) and its Honorary Treasurer is Comdt Adrian Ryan (Representative Association of Commissioned Officers).
